Cormallen Hill Residential Estate is a secure and tranquil private estate situated in Pretoria east’s upmarket residential neighbourhood of Bronberg. Cormallen Hill Residential Estate was proclaimed in 2005 as a full title residential development comprising of 147 land owners.

The estate is established as a non-profit company namely Cormallen Hill (NPC) (registration number 2004/029087/08) that is governed by its memorandum of incorporation, house rules and regulations, architectural guidelines as well as the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality By-Laws. An elected board of directors, full time estate manager and the managing agents ensure compliance and adherence to these rules and regulations.

MEANING OF: Cormallen Hill Residential Estate is believed to derive its name from the novel by J.R.R. Tolkien, Lord of the Rings. In the elves language of Sindarin most commonly spoken in Middle-earth, Cormallen is believed to have the meaning of “golden circle” from cor meaning “round, circular enclosure” and mallen meaning “of gold”.
